I was more pointing it out I did not report or mark it as expired.

The other post has more info on it too.

        • I was more pointing it out I did not report or mark it as expired

You didn't explain yourself either; cryptic links don't help anyone…

  • Good price .. But bad reviews on megabuy.. Anyone bought from them?

    • Yeah, I've bought a few things from them, no dramas at all (I've had quite decent service TBH), they're pretty much the same as any other discount IT retailers IME.

A lot of folks just got their nose out of joint when Megabuy brodened a shitload of cheap HP microservers! ;)

  • I got a 32gb wi-drive - thoguht it might be sueful for Uni to sync between tablet and smartphone and PC - IMO the USB speeds are around 5 to 10 MB/sec, however the wifi speeds appears to be around 20 MB/sec by the fact that i can stream certain HD movies from it. It pretty much creates a hotspot which you connect directly, then using the app, you ccaaan access the files, quite tedious if you have to keep switchign from Wi_Drive to wifi network.

  • These is one that's reads micro Sd cards and usb sticks. I regret not buying that instead of a 16gb one. Crap thing about them is you need to convert videos to ipad mp4 to play them on an ipad.

  • l bought 1 of these from Megabuy boxing day it works great with my Ipad

It's almost insane that a device like this needs to exist. I wish phone/tablet developers could include reasonable storage, its not even expensive!

Simple.. don't buy an iPhone. Most if not all other tables have support for microSD slot..

      • iPhone is a phone not a tablet, and I can't recall tables with mircroSD slot. lol There's options available to increase storage capacity on iPads too.

  • hmmm can someone comment who has one and has played around it.
can i load this drive with avi divx files from my laptop, then connect to the drive with my ipad and watch them on the ipad?

    • I think it uses the ipad's native player, so only supports mp4 or whatever

    • On android avi and divx work fine. Ipad your need to convert your video files to mp4

    • Just get a Surface and watch them directly off a USB stick. Widescreen also.

      • thanks for your advise all.. this is not for me i guess :)

  • avi file would not play on ipad using wi drive

  • Product not available…

  • For a moment i thought this was a wireless network drive :(

I bought EasyAcc WiFi USB HDD/flash/SD card reader from Amazon. It has a inbuilt 8800mah battery and also acts as a wifi router. Got it last month and it works very smoothly. I connect my 2TB portable hard drive to it and watch videos on my iPad. You can connect upto 5 devices at a time.
    Here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/EasyAcc%C2%AE-Wireless-External-Portab…

I got it for $70 including postage using PriceUSA as Amazon does not post this product to Australia.

I personally think that is a better option than the Kingston 32GB Wi-Drive. Just my 2 cents.

    • Looks pretty good.
