      No idea what's the difference in function though.

        that was caused by water pressure , there is no need to use battery . As long as your water pressure is enough that you can connect to your faucet and come out with colorful water .

          Not convinced. I searched for similar products, they need battery. Water pressure is just turning on the switch, it's not a generator (at least at this price). Online reviews are not all favorable, battery almost dead, light not going off with water. Here is a link with battery http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/8122/
          And Rep, if no (replacable) battery, please answer how long this would last. 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week or 1 year :)

      Judging by the replies from the Rep, i suggest using the term duck neck, i think the term goose neck may fry his acid tripping brain as i've never seen the word goose on the menu at my local Chinese takeaway restaurant.
