Parallel, schmarallel. But I do wonder how many people actually care for where it comes from (especially at this price). I personally just want some now especially with the temperature expected to hit ~40°C in west Sydney today. Probably worse is SA :(
I don't agree with all the whinging on the topic of parallel imports "omg this product comes from Vietnam instead of Indonesia you couldn't pay me to drink it!!!"
I've found that their Lipton tea does differ in flavour than the local imports from Coles etc., but cool it up and it will go great on a summer's day.
A lot of things have different ingredients in different countries. Esp food.
High-fructose corn syrup rather than real sugar in American beverages, particularly Coke, for example.
For example just about all candy from China tastes bad. Not sure how.
If people from those countries are surviving after drinking it for all these years, then you should be fine as well.
its not about surviving - with food its about taste to its really subjective but say with something like detergents; the parallel imports you usually have to use twice as much for the same effect so a 20% discount on a parallel import is pretty useless.
Actually the 1.25L Lipton varieties have been deleted and replaced by 1.5L varieties, there's a good chance that this is local stock being off loaded.

As said below this product is being discontinue so they are off loading stock for cheap.
Gonna hit 46 in SA, I should probably go grab some of the tea.
If they have diet lemon or peach iced tea I will legit buy all of them
Interestingly the peach flavour tea has Gluten in it. (the australian produced one- not sure of other flavours or of parallel imports)
