Wondering how much is the postage to Sydney?

According to the stickers, the boxes were packed 4 weeks ago. Have the mangos been refrigerated since? How long do they keep for?

    • hi, no these are not refrigerated

just prepare them and freeze what you cant eat

frozen mangoes + frozen yoghurt/ice cream is droolworthy

FFS they are $5 for a whole tray of Mangoes TA, at that price I dont think your line of questioning is appropriate. You want perfect quality, that will last forever, go and pay for it.

He isn't called tightarse for nothing.

        FFS they are $5

I'm totally aware how much they cost, and my question was interpreted incorrectly. What I was asking was if the price is so cheap due to the fact they were packed so long ago. I have no idea how long they keep, and it was a question for all. Maybe others were interested as well. And as far as my line of questioning being inappropriate goes, this is an open forum, and I have just as much right as anyone else to ask what I want.

Considering you dont reside anywhere near the Gold Coast and had no intention of making the purchase, your question seemed rude and inappropriate. If others wanted to ask a backhanded question on the freshness of the fruit, Im sure they could have, but any normal person wouldnt expect, freshly cut A1 quality mangoes when they are paying just $5 a box. At that price its safe to assume some may be bruised and wouldnt have the shelf life of a more expensive mango.

I bought some for $5 a tray yesterday. They are sweet but some are turning black at the bottom. Still good value but if you buy 2 trays, be sure you can finish them in a few days.

mangoes are loaded with fructose. you don't want to scoff down two trays over a short period of a few days.

When I bought a box before Chrissie the store person said do not refrigerate, it makes them wrinkly. If these are only say 90% usable, still good value. Maybe time to chop up flesh, freeze for mangoes are off the meniu.

  • I think it might be the same lot that I bought around 2 weeks ago for $10 /tray.
Because I have to wait until it's ripe for couple days.
    Very good price.

Went there…price went up to A$10/box… No consistent pricing…
Propaganda, you are in Perth.. stop making comment if u dont know the situation

    • I was there yesterday. I arrived at 15:30 to get a haircut. When I walked through the shop, I could swear I saw a guy selling them 2 trays for $10. Then when I was on my way out, around 17:00, they were only one tray for $10. Definitely not consistent with the pricing.
BTW, they looked really nice. They were ripe though, maybe 4 days worth?

You went for a haircut at the fruit barn? You're doing it wrong bud.. ;)

        • I just did it in true Ozbargain spirit. It was even cheaper than the mangos ;)

Is that really worth a neg? So they sold 2 trays for $10, then decided to go back to 1 tray for $10 at 5PM, when they were likely almost out of stock? I personally don't see that as a big deal.
