WinterSportFi

Dear OzBargainers,

Many of your asked for another deal on our sports earphones so we are running one this weekend for the following:

Sport-Fi M6 In-Ear Headphones in White: $12.99 ($17 off with coupon)
Sport-Fi S6P Workout Package in Red/Black or Green/Black: $29.99 ($30 off with coupon)

All of our Sport-Fi earphones are designed for active use. Features include:

  • Memory wire that conforms to the ear for a comfortable, locked-in fit
  • Noise isolating in-ear design that sits flush in the ear and works under helmets
  • Energetic sound with enhanced bass
  • Covered in full by our 1-year warranty

Additional features of the S6P model:

  • Inline microphone and remote with universal volume control for headset use
  • New and improved touchscreen compatible armband that fits larger phones and a much wider range of arm sizes
  • Short cable designed for use with an armband; an extension cable is also included

The coupon code is "WinterSportFi". All prices in USD. There is a limit of 2 units per order and the coupon will expire Tuesday, February 4th, at midnight PST.

The same coupon code also gives an additional $2.95 credit towards shipping. For those not in the US this will just discount the total by an additional $2.95. Standard 1st class postage to Australia will be $6 after the $2.95 discount and does not change whether you buy one unit or two.

Delivery times vary but are typically between 10 and 20 business days for the standard shipping method. If you need to hit a specific delivery date, we recommend using FedEx shipping, which is available at an additional cost and typically delivers in just a few days.

Compatibility: the M6 earphones will work with any audio device that uses a 3.5mm jack. The S6P headset works with devices from Apple, Blackberry, HTC, LG, and Motorola, as well as newer models from Nokia and Samsung. Certain older Samsung phones, such as the first-generation Galaxy S, as well as older Nokia and Sony Ericsson phones, may require an adapter. Visit our Microphone/remote info page for more info.

As before, I will gladly answer any questions as best I can. I can also be contacted by email at customerservice(at)meelec(dot)com or directly at mike(at)s2einc(dot)com .

It would be cool if you did something wireless for sports :)

The deal is decent thou I cannot handle cables while at the gym.

    • I can handle them because I love exercising to tunes but they sure do pi$$ me off! Can you get in ear wireless earphones?

      • +4

There is typically still a connecting wire between the left and right earphones, but no long wires that go down. We have one in development but it's not ready quite yet.

        • +1

I agree with Shizmo, i cannot deal with the cord, i've accidentally tripped it so many times causing it to land on the treadmill belt sending the phone flying behind me! LOL!

Would be good if MEE can come up with a design similar to the plantronics backbeat go

      • +1

Yep, for about $12 including postage from ebay. They look generic & nasty but actually work extremely well (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Sport-Bluetooth-Wireless-Headset-…).

The only downside to them appears to be that audiphile music elitists detest their audio quality. But yeah, I've not noticed these being any less quality audio-wise than anything else under $100 to be honest.

    • I actually have the phillips wireless sports in ear headphones… they were really terrible cause the sound sometimes cuts out and then comes back like nothing happened after a few secs =/

Perhaps i got a faulty one?

Anyway, i recently bought the S6P and have been using it for a few gym sessions now. They're great and the cord shouldn't get in the way at all. The S6P also comes with the armband which you can put the phone in, and the original cable length is just right for the armband as well.

All in all good product =)

  • great prices - bought the s6p bundle.

  • Ordered S6P two!
    $76 AUS Delivered.

    Thank you

hi mike, any chance the M6 deal will extend to the clear or black colours?

    • I'd love the M6 in clear too :) Really cool design

    • Sorry, low stock status on those. The ones we have enough of to promote are white, orange, pink, and purple

  • Any chance the Airfi Runaway AF32 will have a promotion soon?

    • Probably not until spring - half of the colors are currently out of stock and the rest we are running low on.

  • Didn't get my last order when they put a deal on OzBargain. Slow delivery maybe

    • It typically takes 10-20 business days for delivery to Australia if you choose the least expensive shipping method. If it's been longer than 20 business days (~4 weeks) please send an email to our customer service department so that we can look into it.

  • Great stuff! I finally cracked open the M-Duo from the Xmas promo, they sound great

    • +1

      Glad you like 'em!

  • What's difference between m6p and s6p??

    • The M6P is just an M6 with a microphone. The S6P, aside from having different color schemes, is designed for use with an armband and has a much shorter cord (though an extension cable is included) so that you don't have an extra two feet of cable flopping around. It also comes with our newest Sport-Fi armband included, as well as a better carrying case compared to the M6/M6P.

can a Note 3 fit in the armband?

        • I don't think so - the largest screen size that we've confirmed works is 5", and that's a pretty tight fit.

  • Thanks bought a M6 and a red S6P

  • Hey guys, does anyone have any spare headphone ear rubber things? I bought a pair of meelectronics headphones (M16P?) a while ago but I never got the extra rubber things everyone else did. I'm specifically after the double layered ones. If anyone has them and has no interest in using them, would you mind sending it my way? :)

    • I might have some. Let me check.

    • +4

Send me an email with your address and preferred eartip color (black or clear) and we'll get a set sent out.

  • Have a pair of Sport-Fi S6P from the last deal and I can say they are I am very happy with them. Great sound quality in my opinion. I haven't really used high end headphones so not sure how these compare to more expensive brands though. Good build quality and does't look like anything will break for a long time. And once u find the perfect rubber ear piece it will block out quite a bit of background noise as well. I stopped using these at the gym however because I just stopped listening to music while I work out (yes weird). Now I use these with the PS4 by hooking it up on to the controller. I guess the only negative point I can think of is the plastic clips, mic/vol control remote always gets tangled around the wire. If you maybe fold it away properly with care unlike me I'm sure this can be avoided too.

  • bought some M9's and M6's (clear) in one of the last sales. the M6's i got had 2 right earpieces. unwearable. for $12 i couldn't be bothered with returns etc. and still rocking the M9's for daily commute. just an FYI really

    • This comes up once in a while. Your M6 must have had the memory wire bent the wrong way on one of the earpieces out of the box. You can straighten the memory wire completely with your fingers (just bend it the opposite way) and then re-form it in the desired direction.

  • @mike,thanks a lot for the reply,to be precise,in sound quality is there any difference between m6p and s6p??

    • +1

They use the same driver, the only difference is some extra nozzle filters in the S6P. To my ears the sound quality difference is imperceptible although some of our more astute-eared fans have commented that the S6P has smoother treble thanks to the filters reducing the intensity of high frequencies.

      • for the average listener of trance/progressive music, i wouldn't notice the difference would i?

        • I really doubt you would.

  • Thanks, bought one M6

  • Thank you. Bought S6P - will be good for running. :)

  • Is there any chance you could put up a deal for the AF62's again? I missed the deal last time. I've had a pair of AF32's for quite a while and I love them. Now I need a set of AF62's for my laptop :-)

    • The Matrix (AF62) is currently out of stock. We are working on a new version, which will be called the Matrix2. The improvements being made include more spacious ear pads, Bluetooth 4.0 chipset with aptX support, updated NFC with better range, refined voice prompts, and even longer battery life.

  • wow the aussie dollar sucks. paypal calculates it as under 85 US cents?

  • +2

Paid 12.99 in the last bargain for the m6p, and can confirm that they're good quality headphones with good bass for anyone wondering (listen to EDM) (use them when bike riding). Would not mind buying a second pair, but pity about the "certain older Samsung phones, such as the first-generation Galaxy S, as well as older Nokia and Sony Ericsson phones, may require an adapter"

  • -3

I've an unopened pair of Air-Fi Ventures going for $70 + post if anyone is keen. Currently retails at $119 + $20 shipping.

    • -1

      That's what she said

    • -1

Woah, maybe not. Unsure what went wrong there, repulsion inspired by the word 'retail'?

  • No m6P this time ? :(

    • Just the two options this time.

  • +1

    Couldn't decide on a green/black or red/black S6P so I bought one of each :)

  • Would it be possible for you guys to start including foam tips, or have them available as an add on to orders?
They make such an enormous improvement over the current plastic ones included, which always slide out and leave a lot to be desired.
Its the main/only thing i find lacking with the excellent earphones you produce :D

    • +1

This is definitely something we're interested in doing but for the time being a certain company (not us) holds all US patents on foam eartips.

      • -1

        its apple isn't it?
        ich deteste appul

        • +1

          No.

What. What would even make you think it's Apple?

          It'd be Comply.

  • Waiting for a wireless sport headphone, my plantronic is good but it doesn't give me great sound.

  • I bought m-duo set last time. Quite a decent build quality, but flop out of my ears ALL the time whilst jogging. How does the sound quality of the M6 compare to the other set? Good for trance/progressive house?

    • +1

The M6 has a big advantage for jogging - it's lighter and the memory wire keeps it in place much better. Plus it's more flush in the ear so it doesn't get torqued from your ear when you exercise. In terms of sound they have similar tuning (slightly raised bass and treble relative to to the midrange). The M-Duo is going to have better bass extension and clarity and should resolve fine details in your music better but we think that for exercise use the M6 sounds quite good and its signature does work well with electronic music (which is our favorite genre :))

P.S. you may want to try wearing your M-Duo over-the-ear style, which lets the cable support the weight of the earphones and not the other way around. See here: http://www.meelec.com/v/vspfiles/files/UserManuals/images/ma…

      • Ah right thanks. Got a set. Will see how they are. Cheers.

  • Any deals on the M9P rep?

    • No deals right now but we can match the $10 discount amazon is running.

      • Do I need to get in touch with customer support? Also standard delivery is $8 to Aus?

        • Actually it looks like we'll just run it as a weekly deal later this week. If you can wait a few days it'll be quite a bit cheaper ;).

        • Posted a deal for the second-gen M9P here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/132917

  • Any chance you will be doing the deal anytime soon?. Looking to buy the s6p

    • I posted a new deal on the M9P here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/132917

Probably not going to run another one on the Sport-Fi S6P for a while but if you email me or send me a private message I can match the $29.99 price for you.

      • Thanks!. Just sent you a private message to coordinate.
        Cheers,
