        I tried it before I posted and it wasn't working so I contacted the affiliate network and they contacted Dell and I think they did something because when I tried again it worked? I will ask the network again to have a look at it.

          @Steve: worked for me on other models. the 1520 has "extra upgrades deal" that will not allow any other coupon.

  Don't forget the Vostro 1510 has 15% off. Combine this for 30% off! I just did :D
  also the 1510 comes with a WUXGA 15" screen, that's 1920 x 1200. insane.

  The Dell website shows the 15% off is only for the Vostro 1510 and 1200 series.
  Not "Laptops over $1200"

  Tried the code on an 13" XPS and it didn't clear.
