      "The Singer 7469Q features a user-friendly design that will last you years to come," whereas your $99 job is designed to die 1 month out of warranty so that you'll go back again and get another $99 machine from them. Yours more than likely doesn't have built in quilting stitches, nor the extension table.

      14 built-in stitches. 4-step buttonhole and auto set stitch free arm sewing. LED lighting for bright and easy sewing Vs 98 Built-In Stitches, 7 Fully Automatic 1-Step Buttonholes, Drop Feed, Heavy Metal Frame, Extension Table and More.

      Definitely the Singer is a better option, but only if you'll use the features. If you don't craft/quilt, no point having this machine.

          Wrong. It has 2 StayBright LED Lights so it's actually twice as good.

          All of the reviews, even people who are otherwise happy with the machine state that the light is poor. It's usually easy enough to use a separate lamp though.
