Domestic Airfares only and some small print..
    * Single Supplementary Charge $ 170 – Directly payable to Adventure Discovery treks upon arrival.

Yeah, bit misleading as it says flights are included - but you need to get yourself to and from Kathmandu

  • +1

Very misleading. Flights Included would infer you it gets you there. I've just booked a trek to Everest Base Camp with another tour company but this Trek cost is pretty good, around what I paid.

Flights from BNE to KTM are around $1100rt.

    • Who did you book with?

      • I would like to see one of those price breakdowns like the ones for PCs quoting parts at MSY prices. And of course this trek could be DIY at about half the price I think. A true ozbargainer porters their own gear.

        • A true Ozbargainer will receive money for allowing some-one-else to carry their gear!

Rep: could you please confirm if this trip is planned to reach Everest Base Camp? From the "Intinerary" you posted. The base camp is not one of the stops. Additionally you state "This trek is to view the Mt. Everest"

    • +1

      Yeah it would include EBC.
On "Day 10: Lobuche to Gorek Shep (7-8 hours walk)" you would go Lobuche > Gorek Shep > EBC > Gorek Shep.

Lokks like you guys have done your research well. Sir Admund!!

  • You could get all of this (which is pretty much standard) from any one of the multitude of trekking companies at a cheaper price if you just rock up to Kathmandu.. Competition is strong between the trekking companies..
