PHILIPS Sound Bar with Subwoofer HTL2150 $139 Click and Collect or Free Delivery

40

After reading that $99 Edifier deal, I want to know what do you guys think about this deal:
Have good reviews, a little bit more power and optical in as well. You can check Philips's spec here:

Someone says Dick did it for $99 last year, too bad I didn't know that. $159 in TGG.

I am not sure free delivery is nation wide or Sydney only.

update: I bought the 2160b, with Bluetooth and usb, for $139 at TGG.

    • How's the sound quality?

      • +1

pinoy is on the ball by saying it beats the speakers that come with any TV.

I like it for my needs (it used in my bedroom with my 60" tv).

So if you just want them for an increase in sound quality and eliminate the rattle/distortion some TV's get when you turn the volume up high, these are perfect.

For a audiophile I can only suggest testing them at the store……

Edit: Just want to add that the remote has membrane/dome style buttons. This cheap-ish style I believe has put people off of these type of products, I personally didn't care….

  • If you are not fussy about your sound system then these are OK. Set up a couple of the HTL2160 (with bluetooth) for a clients waiting room and they were happy with it. I'm fussy so I wouldn't waste my money if I was to buy it for myself. But true it beats the tweety little speakers that come with HDTVs. btw the HTL2160 i got for $136 a piece a month ago sale..
