Got an email from Airasia 'Xpecially for you, Get 50% off your flight fares'. Although it states in the email that this exclusive offer can only be accessed through the link provided in the email, I sent the copied link to my friend's computer and it worked.

    I got the email it seems too. I booked a flight recently, and this isn't any cheaper it seems.

    Edit: this appears to be business class? If it is then different to my email.

      The fair is $0; you're only paying airport charges and taxes. So it cannot get any cheaper.

    It will be interesting to see if they honour this targeted offer, but I'm very tempted!
    Note that the changeover to the new terminal (KLIA2) is expected early May, so I presume there will be a lot of disruption.

    This is silly, I bought 2 biz SYD KUL return for $512 total. End of May for a long weekend.

    Update - It's now $2480 each for the weekend I bought. I guess someone spotted it…..

    Wonder if they will honour it…..

      Through mucking around with the meal selection it added $26, I was so anxious to complete the booking I didn't care. Would have been $534

      Managed to keep my sh*t together enough to untick the insurance option though. Phew!

    Booked here too. Nothing from OOL, so booked SYD-KL return for $512 for 2 people over the 10 day Easter/Anzac break. Crazy crazy crazy.

    Wondering if I should wait to book the flights to SYD though, just in case the flights get cancelled……..what does everyone think?

      Not sure on this. I just got off the phone with one of the staff due to having to change my flight as I was too trigger happy. No alarm bells rang and they were happy to do so. Also no extra charge due to being business class.

    I have booked for the whole family to go to KL over the Easter/Anzac week - I wasn't able to choose seats as they didn't have 6 spare business class on the days I wanted so I just jumped in with random seating.

      I just spoke to them and they managed to find business seats for us so even though I didn't get the flights I wanted I got business class seats PER to KL return for an absolute bargain over the Easter/Anzac break.

    It also looks like the pricing has been pulled, rather than the promo seats all selling out.

    Ive just done a dummy booking on the same flight I booked (I am the only person booked in business one the outbound leg), and it is still empty yet the pricing has gone up to $500+

    Might see some refunds coming in.

    booked at about 5.30, $260 return for a quick getaway during uni holidays. This is actually cheaper than if it was economy only as it includes baggage which is quite a significant cost.

    So good, The flight from KL always leaves for Adelaide at 11:55pm. I paid for the upgrade to a flatbed lastime for $180 bucks on new years day, that's after paying for my normal flight

    My flight today cost me $80 from KL
