Bought one of these during last $10 sale. Works amazing. I use it as my laptop mouse for when I go travelling.

  • yellow only?

    • There's other colours, but all are more expensive.

      • +2

I checked too, the others are $19-29. They all have the same mousepad deal though if you want that. You get one mousepad for each mouse added to your cart, but only a single cleaning cloth regardless of how many mice you buy.

  • Pick up free, got some exrtra goodies thrown in free. Excellent deal

  • Fantastic deal even with added shipping!
    Thanks OP :)

  • p.s. not the best mouse I've used, but then again it's only $10 :|
I got mine during their $10 + free shipping deal a while back
    Glossy = sticky when gaming.

  • Got it last time, fantastic mouse. Honestly though, not sure why the RRP is $45. It's an extremely good mouse but worth only maybe $20.

  • Bought two, thanks OP!

  • +1

Paid twice this for just the mousepad, fantastic deal. I like the pad, it's very thin and bloody huge, I only use about a quarter of it but still good.

    • +2

The included mouse pad was the bonus that swayed me in the end.

Look forward to picking up 3 mouses and pads in the next few days!

      • +1

that could almost be a sanitary euphemism

  • $10 shipping to regional vic :(

  • I bought one during the last $10 sale too. The mouse is a bit on the thin side so if you prefer a fat mouse the feel might not be for you. Besides that works great.

  • What a freaking steal… I bought the mousepad itself for $23 just a few days ago.

  • +4

    Free mousepad gone :(

    • +2

Weird, the mousepad page is still here and listed as in stock. You can't search for this OEM verison though, and you'll notice in the link I gave it's filed under 'Not for sale'. Also when you add it to your cart (even with a mouse) it comes up as $29, no discount. My guess is they've just run out of promotional pads, good deal for all who got one.

Am I doing something wrong? The cleaning cloth shows up in the cart but not the mousepad. The mousepad was the only thing I wanted in this $10 deal hehe.

  • I'm surprised they didn't list OzBargain in their marketing survey

  • Thank you sales agent 'test' for helping me with my purchase.
Regardless of the lack of mousepad, $10 for this mouse is a steal!

  • where's the free mouse pad :(

  • I bought this mouse last time it came up here and it SUCKS. Main problem was the glossy finish making moderate use impossible. A mouse isn't something you want to skimp out on, research for a good one online.

  • did I miss this one??? as page is showing $45 :-(

  • back to $45. e

The mouse pad and cleaning cloth were in my order last night but I just checked my order details and it looks like they removed the mouse pad and cleaning cloth from my order.

    • Mine still appear in my order history - fingers crossed!

Both appear to be awaiting warehouse allocation. Do they normally send an e-mail when the order is ready to be picked up?

    • I bought two mice, which came with bonus two mouse pads and cloth and they are still there in my order, and as of this morning the order is ready to pick up.

  • This is not expired, it just does not have the mousepad anymore. I wanted to buy this for the mousepad too.

    • Incorrect, it did expire. However it has now renewed.

  • I just want the mousepad, any deals going around on it?

  • +3

Just picked mine up from Clayton, got the mouse pad and cleaning cloth too.

Look forward to trying it out tonight.

  • $17 shipping to WA? Yeah nah.

    • Don't worry, Western Australians don't have computers to plug these into.

Went to Clayton to pick it up today. "Hi, I ordered the SteelSeries Kinzu v2 Mouse". Their reply - "You and 80,000 others".

    99.95% of them from Ozbargain?

    • When I picked up, the guy said they had around 5000 sitting out the back that had been ordered, not bad!

      • +1

Any idea why this is so popular? Looks like an oridinary every day kinda mouse. Also, horrible yellow colour, but to each their own.

        • +2

Most likely because it is Steel Series branded. Any reputable gaming mouse for 10 bucks will be snapped up.

If however, the mouse was called Xiang Hong Ling Fu and exactly the same, I don't think it would be any near as popular.

          Brands are a powerful thing.

        • That's why air jordan sells!

        • thats why knowing that nike shoes only cost less than $10 to manufacture doesnt stop us buying them for $150+

Go run 7ks, 3 times a week and tell me Nikes aren't worth there price. Sure beats knee surgery.

    I got my 2 today….

Anyone realise as soon as they put the mousepad down that its ridiculously huge? could even cut it into 4 pieces and theyd be around the same size as a QCK mini

  • Picked up mine today, told me as well that they've sold a whole heap. The pad is different to my regular QcK+, both in material and logos. The one from this deal seems to have a slightly courser weave on the surface, and my mouse glides along it easier. I'm happy, this gives me more surface options :) The logos have it labelled as a 'QcK+ Steel' which might explain the difference. It's also marked "Not for resale"; this is probably why they had to give the pads away with cheap mice.

Top deal all in all, I'm happy! Currently using it with my older pad to make a giant mat for under the keyboard and mouse :P

EDIT: Mouse feels almost as cheap as it was, it's decent though. Very light and the braided cable is nice. Absolute basic level for a mouse, but I'm sort of treating it as the freebie, so I'm not complaining :)

  • +$17 bucks for shipping to WA. Still a good price but not the bargain I wanted…

  • Lol 12 bucks shipping for me to WA. And it arrived today in 2 days wow. Mouse pad is decent monstrous size and mouse is alright( I already have one from the $10 free shipping deal).

  • Ordered on 4th, got mine today in the morning.

Came with pretty decent mouse mat, the Goliath size if comparing to razer, and a scorptek branded micro fiber cleaning cloth.

    Good stuff.

  • Great mouse pad!

  • Back to $45. Game over.

  • damn should have bought earlier :(

  • in case anyone sees this,

there is updated firmware available at http://steelseries.com/support/downloads

if you're having issues with the sensitivity then this may help as it seemed to recalibrate it lower at each setting. before update i preferred 800, after update 1600.
