      I went the t100 because I will be taking it outside a lot and won't be able to charge it I'd it gets flat.

      Was waiting for this deal but went for surface pro instead. Yes its a bit thick but i5, 4GB, 128GB, full hd, pen makes up for the extra you'd have to pay.

    if your using it for uni, definitely get the t100, battery life is amazing, and also comes with a real keyboard. and office pre installed.
    surface pro has crap battery life, and the keyboard is crappy,no office, yes there is a new power cover/keyboard coming out, will be priced in excess of 200AUD and with the power cover I still think the battery wouldn't be as good as t100.
    plus consider the kickstand style vs laptop style of t100 too.

        Lets put things into perspective.. T100 only has amazing battery life compared to surface pro as compare to the surface pro the t100 has a bullsh*t processor, inferior ram, half the hdd and a joke screen resolution. Its battery really doesn't have to power to much!

          you forgot "a proper keyboard", and for most people like me the first point seals the deal and that is AMAZING BATTERY LIFE 11 hours. surface pro=4 hours
          idk what you mean by bullshit processor but the t100 processor is no slouch. it will easily perform everyday tasks, multitasking, it even plays crysis on low settings,
          yes surface pro is more powerful and if u dont care about BATTERY LIFE, KICKSTAND and paying for a TYPE KEYBOARD you should get the surface.
