That's a 3.5 desktop (internal?), not a portable USB powered 2.5 and afaik newegg don't ship to Australia.

Unrelated to original post, in a number of ways.
Fair call that it's not the same and doesn't ship BUT i put it in because my last 2 HDDs were actually portable drives from Centrecom that just happened to be cheaper. Nevertheless, no shipping is a bit of a deal killer unless you want to go through a freight forwarder like shipit.to

Yep. Although one of them i opened only to put it into a media player so it was a bit like for like.

Hopefully a standard price drop is just around the corner.
Currently it can be had for $120 AUD including delivery on Amazon (if paying with a credit card that doesn't charge foreign exchange fees).
Sigh.. why do I come on OzBargain when I'm trying to save money.
