are they really better? Depending on state, it would be summer and it can get pretty hot. but that said, you escape winter blues here

I have tried a couple of dates and departure locations (BNE and SYD) and cant seem to get any cheaper than $1139.

  • Anyone found what period the $829 price is for?
    I can't find anything under a 1k

I just found a SYD to LAX flight between 3-21 June ($855.76)

      or $855.74 from BNE

  • it seems the sub $900 fares departing BNE and SYD seem to only be in June period.

  • Do they still do that thing there you buy 3 seats for 2 people and they make it into a bed?

  • Hmm, tried to Orlando & it came up with almost $2,700 return.

  • isn't this a dupe

  • I hate it when they up the price a few hours later. Damnit.

  • Would LAX be the cheapest airport to fly into?

    • Yep. Sometimes you can score SFO for the same price or a few bucks more. Depends on what your plans are whether LAX is the best entry point. Normally it is for me, despite the awfulness of LAX.

If I just want a cheap one-way flight can I book a return flight, with the return leg as an "Economy Flexi" for $969 (refundable and changeable anytime) and then once I'm in the US, cancel the return ticket for a full refund or is there something I'm missing?
