Thanks to the OP for posting the good deals but let's be frank about Webjet. They are everything opposite to what an OzBargainer is looking for - the cheapest deal for a particular products or service.

In a time where the ACCC is cracking down on companies that drip-charge it's amazing that Webjet has done so well for itself thus far. While I wish no malice towards the owners of Webjet - they provide a somewhat useful comparison service and profit from their own version of an idiot tax - I sincerely hope their obvious drip-charge system is forcibly rectified with all the others.

Yes, Tiger are offering the same prices directly, with the same booking fee that also happens to be tagged on by Webjet. Except for only an unavoidable $32.90 extra Webjet will give that extra little bit of "processing" and a "booking price" guarantee window of 30 minutes (I don't know how long Tiger gives you).

If you're going to Adelaide I suggest you save the money and spend your $5 to help send a friend one-way.

    • Very much agree with this.
As replied to the guy above, had no idea about the booking fee.
Should have researched before posting, never actually booked with Webjet myself.

    • How does Adioso compare to Webjet?

    • The other thing for people to know is that if your flight happens to be cancelled, you will not be refunded the full amount you paid. Hence, Webjet keep their booking fee and will subsequently charge you a second booking fee for making a new booking through them!

Of you pay via MasterCard debit there is no booking fee

    • Thank you, deal has been updated

  • Thanks for updating. I just noticed the deal is Australia-wide and not just via Melbourne so it's useful for us Sydney-siders too.
