From $519.99 down to $499.99. Ships to Australia - make sure to click "USD" at checkout, otherwise it will be more expensive with Amazon's currency converting. Keep in mind credit cards charge a currency conversion fee but much less than Amazon's.

The ASUS models are generally highly regarded. Review here. Cheapest in Australia is $639.00 from MSY.

I have been keeping my eye out on price drops, and hopefully there will be more in future after Maxwell releases (if it ever does). Still, 780's are still a good product - VideoCardBenchmarks put it as 4th best card. If you're like me you might want to SLI.

  • is the 3 year warranty international?

    • The warranty sectionon the ASUS site says that "Warranty period may differ regionally, please check with your purchase Site", but also that "Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law". Not sure what to make of that. Additionally, check out ASUS' warranty policy for Aus & NZ.

Pretty sure it means nothing, as you are importing the graphics card from another country.

  • Superb price for such a top card! There will be 6GB versions coming soon from some companies though.

And on Amazon, I've had 3 or 4 cards from them and never had a problem. :)

Will make a nice upgrade from my Voodoo Banshee.

  • Works out to be just under $600 for me, the cheapest in Aus according to Staticice is $640. If you can get the CC rate it's pretty good.

Please re-read the original post, it has some info you're looking for. After CC conversion it should end up to $575.92 AUD + CC fees. If you use 28 degree card then there is no international fee.

  • Any idea why they can ship a graphics card and not a motherboard?

The packaging is about the same size for both but amazon doesn't ship any of its motherboards to Australia for some reason. It is really hindering my planned build for a new computer.

Not sure mate. But whoever downvoted you for simply asking this is a tool.

    • its to do with distribution rights

they make more money selling mobos here at AUD prices and therefore restrict amazon from shipping them here

      its hit and miss really

      • That's what I thought, ie. it's the same with Asics shoes form oveseas.

However, that could be said for anything in a computer. Motherboards aren't the most frequently changed component in a computer imo and the difference in price is pretty much the same with any other component. ie. AMD FX6300 can be had for $20 less compared to MSY, most SSDs are $20+ less when on sale etc.

  • will it work in my MacPro?

  • nice, now i can play minecraft

  • thanks for sharing
