  • Not to sound paranoid, but can anyone support the claim that it does indeed have a capacity of 2000mAh?

    • +2

You should be concerned (you shouldn't be paranoid over a $4 product), most of the power capacity claims are fake at this end of the market. Its very hard to tell which are legit and which aren't.

  • Cheaper elsewhere as per links above. Pure spam like their last post.

    • Any detail links?

      • see above

    Postage time to Perth?
Wondering how is the reliability of the product?
Lots of cheap overrated batteries selling at ebay.

    • Have you got any proof this product isn't also overrated?

Anker and MugenPower are so far the only 2 third party battery brands I trust when it comes to reported and actual capacity. However they tend to be on the more expensive side.

    • and as far as I can tell you can't get Anker in Australia…

      • I've managed to import some for my Galaxy S2, but it does seem much harder to buy them now.

        • Yeah I tried. Seems the old ebay seller doesn't post to Aus anymore and both Amazon US and UK won't ship the product to Aus.

Would have been keen to try the Anker though.

  • are you joking us rep? theres no way these are genuine 2000mah batteries.

  • Hey guys,
Has anyone actually recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100 Battery from eBay that has been of good quality aka battery life has lasted? My Samsung needs a new battery but I'm unsure of which eBay store to purchase from. Thanks in advance.

around 90% of them will be not worth the money. generally they all overstate there capacity massively and you have little recourse of a refund etc

id probably only get a proper genuine one from a local "walk in" retailer

    • I got one of the extended ones with the oversized battery cover - its far thicker but early indications are the capacity is insane! Only lost 29% after 5 hours of HEAVY use!

The cheap battery I bought over Ebay (to use as a spare when I couldn't charge my phone during the day) stopped working after a few months. If you plan to get a new battery to use day to day, you're better off getting something reliable; or a proper Samsung-branded battery.
