Projecta battery chargers are generally considered one of the better brands you can buy. Perhaps not as good as say Ctek, but the next best thing…

I was at SuperCheap just outside of Windsor NSW yesterday and saw these chargers. When I came home I found they were actually ALL on special on the web (and supposedly instore) even though the instore shelf prices were not reduced.

The 2-16 amp Pro-Charge for $125.40 is probably the best deal and will quickly and safely charge even large batteries.

These Pro-Charge chargers are 6 stage chargers - so they are much better for your battery than the standard dumb Kmart $25 style chargers.

The cheapest Pro-Charge is a 1-4 amp for $63. The same charger sells for $99 at Bunnings so you could buy it there and get a further 10% off - making it $56.70 from Bunnings…

    Good price. But personally, I'd spend the extra $10-$20 on a C-tek charger.

      I'm not disagreeing with the fact Ctek make a better charger but which 16A Ctek can you get for $10-$20 more?

          Dunno, maybe the people who are so short of time they need a fast charger for MiNH batteries.

          I've got a 5A Ctek that'll easily top my batteries up overnight.

          I had the earlier model Projecta and it died on me. Most batteries don't seem to be able to receive that much charge anyway. I now have a ctek 5amp and it is great. $63 is cheap though and while mine worked it worked well.

      A google search for the equivalent 7 amp Ctek charger shows it going for $135

      The Projecta seems like the better deal at the moment.
      I have the 8 amp model bought nearly 2 years ago for over $100

    Bought one (Pro 4amp)from Bunnings Oxley, QLD today and they did the discount ok to $56.70. Four left on the shelf!
