  • Thanks for reminding me I was after one of these.
A quick check shows there is a V2 - Worth the extra couple of $$$ IMO: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/NEW-NITECORE-i4-V2-Intelligen…

EDIT - Looks to be V2 that is posted.

  • Price is OK, its not 41% lower than usual Chinese suspects like BG, FT DX etc. Maybe a dollar or two. Aussie plug is a bonus though.

The plug is just a figure 8 type plug that used to come with cassette players and the like.

Decent chargers though. Gets good reviews from people who know about these things.

  • I bought this 1 years ago. Not sure if it was genuine as it was dead 3 months ago.

240v input does not charge. 12v input shows up short circuit in my power supply.

    • Was it from this store?

  • Is this site like eBay?
Because there are other listing for this and this one only has 1 feedback but another listing for the same item had over 200. But I don't know if that's for the seller or for the item?

    • The other listing has over 700 feedback it seems. But this one feedback makes me hesitant

      • I think often on these sites they want to drop the price, but they create a new listing rather than drop it for some reason. Seems common on dx anyway

  • Great for vapers

Looks good, but especially with Aliexpress I'm wary on lack of feedback.
I found a few days ago my mrs had dropped a 14500 cell into my Maha C9000, so something like this would be great, I just wish Maha would put one out (I love the capacity measurement & display)

    • The jibber jabber is that there are several coming out this year. But not necessarily MAHA. One is already out, the Opus 3100 dream charger but there is a question over some of its behaviour. However a couple of knowledgable people suggest its an aberration, not the norm, and they suggest its a good charger.

Opus make the Accupower I think.

  • I bought one and it lasted about 14 months. Its Dead no lights at all on 240V or 12v.
Anyone want a dead unit ? I wont buy another one of these.

with 2 posters saying "failed early" I'm steering clear of this.

My dx-sourced 'dumb' LiPo charger went pop and now only works off the 12V input, I imagine similar failure modes for these, given lack of design and safety standards, abandoned in favour of lowest price. Sad since for 30-50% more they could make much more reliable stuff. Can't help but reflect on the comment "there's not a single product that can't be made a little cheaper, at a little lower quality" and how this has been taken to extremes in so much chinese product.

I'm cheap, but in my book a $30 charger that lasts 10 years is cheaper than an $18 one that only lasts a year./rant
