    Is WIFI built-in?
    Can you access UK Catchup TV services, eg. BBC IPlayer, ITV, 4OD?

      Wifi is built in, works very well. You can also setup proxies with the wifi, so I'm sure you could get a UK proxy to work, if you even need to. Then it's just a matter of changing region of the TV to UK, you just lose access to Australian apps if you do that.

    Yeah I have had a Samsung for 7 years and are very happy with it still, it cost me $1399 and it was a 29" !!!!

  Same, we got ours from JB and am very happy with it. Didnt really bother about the 3D in the first place, but tried it and to my surprise it was not bad, pretty good.

    NAH your not wrong, they have the wrong price on their website. But that's kool just grab one of their catalogues which has the 1299 price in it and show them so you will get it at that price before they fix it up :0

  There's not many of those 55" Samsung TVs around. Mostly display models at Myer.
  Ended up purchasing from Appliance Central for $1270 With free delivery.

      Actually Appliance Central called me up the next day and told me they couldn't get any more stock from Samsung!
      So ended up getting the 50" version from Myer for $1149 (last boxed version at Knox City).
      That price for the 50" is actually pretty good compared to online retailers etc.
