  I have a general question.

  Is it ok to buy travel insurance policies from 2 different insurers for one return trip?

  How about additional travel insurance on top of my credit card travel insurance?

  Would the insurers refuse to pay if they found out I have 2 policies?

    "Other insurance
    If any loss, damage or liability covered under this policy is covered by another insurance policy, you must give us details. If you make a claim under one insurance policy and you are paid the full amount of your claim, you cannot make a claim under the other policy. If you make a claim under another insurance policy and you are not paid the full amount of your claim, we will make up the difference. We may seek contribution from your other Insurer. You must give us any information we reasonably ask for to help us make a claim from your other Insurer."

    paulaus - there's an 'Annual Multi Trip' option on the site…. (down at the bottom of the page). Annual quote is cheaper than 6 weeks cover and the code above works.

    Had insurance with TID few times over the years. Make a claim once, the process was quick and simple, no problem at all. Very happy with them and I highly recommend them.

  Ensures profit by only insuring people under 70.
  refer you onto their other insurance partner which makes one wonder why they can't offer similiar cover themselves. Guess they are maximising profit or minimising costs. JoyV
