    3) Bluetooth to your phone and get power from your lighter (if using for more than 4-6 hours).

    Yes, but could spend close to $100 bucks in accessories to connect it.

    It's designed for ipods and phones. Most aftermarket head units will output low frequencies that will blow this.

    It is very unlikely that your car will be able to pass music to this boom box via Blue Tooth. You can play music on your phone like meniac said.

    You can often get an amp, a pair of very good speakers and all the cables brand new for a bit over $400. You need to know what to look for and a mate who knows what they are doing to install it, but it is a far better solution.
