      • I wonder if this will work…just re-scanning the voucher? I would say the system is programmed to only allow 1 voucher per shop. Says as much in the fine print.

        • Ok, if so then you might have to do multiple transactions of $1.5.

  • What other vouchers you got there? What Woolworths magazine?

    • The magazines are free at the cashier.

  • Good promo . I never even knew there was a Australian canned option .

This product is delicious! Good find!

  • This deal seems a little fishy to me.

  • Wow, I've been looking for Australian canned fish for a while. Thank you.

  • Is it farmed fish?

  • "All other tinned fish is Made In Thailand or Phillipines."
Not it's not, there are a range tinned fish products available in Australia that come from various countries around the world, USA, Portugal & NZ just for a start.

Yes it's best to buy local, and yes much of the tinned-tuna-type products come from Thailand but not all tinned fish comes from those countries.

    • You're right, I'll amend to say 'most'.

Where can I get Portugal and NZ fish? I havent sent ANY tinned varieties of this.

      • Santamaria brand tinned sardines are from Portugal, found in most supermarkets I visit.
Aldi has various USA produced tinned salmon.
I have seen (but don't recall) stuff from NZ.

  • I've never of roasting Salmon before. Baked salmon, yes.

Its hard to beat pink salmon - wild caught, canned in Alaska.
About $7 /kg (in 415g tins) compared to $16 /kg for this farmed Tassal salmon.

I remember when they had true Australian wild salmon (Arripis trutta)
    Processed here and incredibly cheap.
Coles and Woolies both had it as a generic, but deleted it for some reason.

    • is that the savings brand version? I'm the biggest salmon fan, but I couldn't stop gagging at it. health hazard, brother.

  • Official JPG or PDF (Page 98).

  • I got 36 of them delivered so I doubt they will limit you to one can in the store.
