  • seems like they have good reviews on amazon

  • Let me tell you, these are freaking AWESOME knives. Seriously. I purchased these last year and they are the best knives that I've owned. I know people on Ozbargain don't like COTD, but I can certainly vouch for these.

  • +1

Agreed, I bought the three knife set (chef, small serrated and paring) from COTD about 6 months ago. Best knives I've ever owned.

Worth mentioning that the cheapest these have ever been on COTD previously is $199

  • Amazing blades and they keep a good edge!
Got a few when target had them on clearance, sit side by side with my globals.
Edit: COTD… Probably the cheapest rubbish in their range!
No love for COTD, so i might be biased….

  • Very good knives. Got a couple from target when they had them on clearance.

    • I also like the ones I got from Target on clearance.
However, these COTD ones appear to have a very different (and much cheaper looking) handle / build.

  • What is the difference between TWIN 4 star and the regular 4 star used in the comparison price.

According to the official Zwilling website, there is no such series as TWIN 4 Star.
    http://shop-de.zwilling.com/de_en/zwilling-ja-henckels-knive…

There is a TWIN 4 Star II, but from the pictures, they are definitely not it.

Maybe this is only a marketing name change for different regions.
Or is it possible that there is something different (perhaps inferior) about the TWIN 4 star knives compared to the Original 4 Star series knives?

Or perhaps i am just over thinking things, when instead, i should be bed sleeping.

  • Cheaper than Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Zwilling-Henckels-7-Piece-Knife-Block/…

The 4 Star II has a more attractive handle but is much more expensive: http://www.amazon.com/Zwilling-J-A-Henckels-7-Piece-Knife/dp…

  • Very good value, paid the same without the Kitchen Shears last year. Very nice knifes!

  • How would the blades compare to the Victorinox Fibrox range?
