Mt Gambier, S.A Sav Blanc for $6.60 /12 (Free Shipping) = $79.20 Doz

12

Yes another one. A purported $22/bottle Sav Blanc for $6.60, from Mt Gambier, S.A and reportedly (by Vinomofo) the rival/better than Kiwi ones.

$79.20 if you just buy this.

Keen to try but I just bought two cases yesterday…

[Edit: bad math, and free shipping]

  • The email I have says free shipping on this.

    • Yeah, if I check out it is $0, but shows $9 on the page. Will update.

I'm really sorry mate but it looks like you haven't done ANY research whatsoever and you're just posting for the sake of posting (I'm assuming to get referral credits)

What makes you think this is a good deal? Have you tried to find out what wine this black market deal may be? If so how does the price compare to competitors?

Also I'm pretty sure this weekend it's free shipping for their anniversary promo.

I can't give you an upvote unless you can show that you've at least put some thought into the post (I'm not suggesting you haven't, but from the post it does not look like you have)

Further elaboration of what I mean, if you have a look at the earlier vinomofo post, the person who posted actually did their research and compared price with danmurphys

PS> I will remove my neg if you can show that this is a good deal. If not, this post just looks like spam advertising

    • Fair enough, it's been a bit of a vino-mofo onslaught here recently.

I think it's this 2013 Coola Road Sav Blanc: http://www.coolaroad.com/collections/frontpage/products/2013…

It's not really available anywhere else that I can see, and nor can I find any independent commentary on it. Has a bronze in the Limestone coast, and a gold from Hobart, and a gold from the CWSA (China Wine & Spirits Awards) in Hong Kong. Not quite James Halliday, but it sounds respectable for the price.

Yeh..sorry mate, no offense to you, I'm sure this is a good wine but without any real idea what is it or without having any feedback about whether is it any good or not then this post is really just free advertising because I have no idea if this is a good deal or not, as we all know that advertising 70% off RRP means nothing really.

Previous posters that got positive votes actually bought cases and only posted when they had received and had tried. Either that or they did their research to prove that it's a good deal.

I guess the point I am trying to make is that we should not be encouraging posts like this or we would just get a flood of random vinomofo posts for people to buy "random wines".

      • for an extra 90c a bottle:
You can get an Adelaide Hills savvy with greater pedigree:

        which is this:

  • I agree with @maestrok. He has some valid points. To me
It looks like a random wine with a price tag. Unsure if it's a deal or not !!
