      a few years back i bought a carton of coke with a 'share a coke with … ' promotion on every can.

      it had some common names and others such as mum, dad, sis etc

      one of then was 'share a coke with Bogan' straight out of the box.

      i am aware it is a legit first name somewhere, but the geographical oversight in Oz seems obvious.

      still gives me lols.

    Did this the other day at a pop-up.

    With accepted names, the staff will reject offensive or ones that are probably too long. Haven't tested this myself, but I'm curious to hear from others.

    The cheapest Coca-Cola branded drink are the mini 200ml cans, usually $3.60 for two at Coles. A physical receipt is needed to verify.YMMV.

    As for quantity, it's one bonus can per item bought. With the two aforementioned cans bought, I received another two cans each with a name stickered on.

    The customisation itself is the name printed on a metallic sticker applied by the staff themselves, which also means they can (unintentionally) misalign them. The sticker matches the can itself - font, finish, colour.

    Overall pretty happy with the quality, mate loved his one.

    Tried using it at the MCG today, passive-aggressive Coke rep tried to gaslight me into believing OzBargain was wrong, and not the CocaCola page. I showed him and he still didn't want to admit it was an error by his side.

    The promo at the MCG involves buying a Coke product to get a personalised bottle, but very dodgy to pretend they didn't stuff this up.

    Similar to above. Coles Knox promo required you to buy a coke product, show receipt and for each product you get a can with the sticker. The rep must have been fielding questions about this so was quick to point out that there is nothing "free in this promo". The sticker seems ok but also depends on the rep. Couple of stickers are not that aligned.

    Also, longer the name, shorter the text size (obv) but keep that in mind if you are looking to get one each for family members as they will look slightly different depending on the no. of characters.
