    still annoyed they've pumped up all their board game prices by ~20% or more across the board.

      Not a chance that you won't be able to get it launch day for $60-$60 at the big name stores. Enjoy playing MK8 a week after release :)

          Yep I don't mind waiting a few days or weeks for a game to arrive. It's a hobby, not something I live for. Yes you might be able to pick it up for the same price at a local store. Still it's currently the best price for anyone interested. I agree that its unfortunate that big name stores don't do preorders for games like this for a decent price (JB and EB are both currently asking ~$80 for their preorders).
