    Seriously? We do temp checks 3 times a day and there are alarms on the fridges. As soon as the fridge stops working we have to pull it all out and put it in the coolroom out back otherwise we'd waste over $1000 worth of stock.

      what good is an alarm if there is NO POWER? or nobody is there to check it?
      
      yes the 3 days thing must be a joke - but what if the fridge dies thursday night - friday no open - saturday morning = fresh meat!

      All the fridge alarms are monitored by a central monitoring company. If they alarm, someone has to physically go in to the store and fix it or remove the stock. Usually the manager.
