Secured a click and collect on two cartons, then, received a call from the store saying that they cant honour the purchase as they have none of the imported in store. They offered a full refund or will substitute with the loacally brewed stuff :-(

Yes, two types and for what I understand, the local is inferior.

I went to another store to collect another two cartons, and guess what,,,, it was the local stuff as well.
So that means, I now have 4x Australian Becks instead of the promised German imported.
I could have left empty handed, for a refund but, 30 bux a carton, imported or not is still cheap..
But, I am certainly going to send Dan an email and whinge about what has happened.

Yes. They had the cases, up the front of the store ready to go. I tried it yesterday and it is pretty ordinary in taste.
It doesn't even come close to the real deal stuff out of Germany.
I have sent em an email, just waiting for a reply to see what they can do.
Hopefully, they can swap it over to what I payed for,,, "Imported"

They have confirmed that they cant swap it for imported stuff as they have none in stock……
