I often drink their every day stocked ground and its pretty good….sooo, hope this stuff is as good or better.

this brand is made by the same people who make Vittoria Coffee fwiw (i.e. its their 'cheaper' brand)
It might be made by them, but it is one of the absolute worst store bought coffees you can buy. It is absolutely terrible, from my experience.
But it's a Gold Medal blend. How can it be bad?
The 1kg whole beans are the same price.

I've always been happy with the various beans I buy from Manna Beans. They regularly come up with different offers advertised in this forum, and the average I've paid is about $25 a kilo.
Terrible coffee! I wouldn't pay $5.00 for it.
Now hopefully everybody will believe that comment, and I can go and clear Aldi out of all their stock tomorrow!
Honestly though, IMO average quality, at a 'Bargain' price.
I've had Campos $30+ per Kg. Is it worth that much? IMO… No!.
I never drink instant/powder coffee, I don't know how people can.
As others have stated, some wouldn't even buy coffee beans unless they were 'just freshly roasted'.

A serious challenger to Maxwell House for the worst instant coffee ever created. But I think Maxwell House just wins.

One of their standard ones that I have been drinking is 100% Roasted Arabica Coffee Beans. It will be interesting to see what country this stuff comes from. For only 10bux, its worth a punt, just to see what its like.
If no good, I will keep a special place for it in my kitchen, and feed it to the mother inlaw when she visits, that way, its not a total loss…………. :-)
It's locally blended from imported beans. Doesn't say Arabica so I'm assuming Robusta.
At least there are separate 250g packs to minimise spoilage of opened packs.

I just came back from Aldi and these coffee beans are all sold out in the morning. Only few packs of ground coffee left on the shelf.
I ended up brought 1kg of Mezzo medium roast coffee beans $11.99. I brought the 2nd last pack and someone behind me brought the last one.
It's 100% Arabica, smells and taste good.
but aint anything better than instant????
The Robert Trim premium instant coffee are pretty good, too.

I was there this morning, not long after opening, and they had limited units (prob 20x packs of each) only because of a lack of shelf space. I knew that wouldn't last long….
Just got back form there now (expecting none to be left) and the shelf was full of the stuff, with more packs than what I saw this morning.
This is telling me, they restock as the day progresses.
Plenty at North Sydney where I was there.
Yeh, well, I forgot too mention, that I grabbed another 2 packs on my last visit.

No, I haven't asked the staff since they were busy serving other customers. The Leichhardt store seem to sold out very quickly. It's Saturday and the store almost full house.
I'll go next week and hopefully they have more stock.
Btw, the Mezzo medium roast coffee beans is really good. I used a Sunbeam Coffee Grinder EM0480 to grind these beans and my house smells like a coffee shop.
Highly recommended.
