Yay… jumped on it this time!!!
and it ended up being $48USD… seems cheaper then previous posts

It's cheaper by a couple of dollars due to the selected postage method (standard vs expedited). I found sometimes changing my address had also changed the cost of postage (which I later determined to be Amazon changing the postage method).

    • Yes, guess what I too trust the collective wisdom of ozBargainers who've favoured this deal for several months now, so I too bit the bullet this time around. Badly needed a usb stick, spent several hours yesterday night with Amazon Export Sales continuously showing out of stock. I understand that other sellers (inc TigerDirect etc.) do not usually ship to Australia.

  • I have ordered 1 extra, if anyone in Melbourne wants 1 X 128GB for $50 AUD , feel free to PM me.That way we both save on some shipping. It cost me around AU $99.5 shipped for 2 drives. Can pick up once it arrives in 2 weeks.

  • Mine ended up being 50AUD from the last post.

    • My order total is US$48.04 (A$52.19 are currently showing to have been authorised in my AMEX).

      • I ordered in USD and I think this was yesterday but this was the breakdown

Perfect timing was in the market for a USB and at this price for 128GB well worth it.

    • +2

Agree, it's as big as my current SSD. :)

Great price…. but i dunno what i would do with it….
Need an excuse to buy it.

Already got a 64gb sandisk extreme pro usb 3…

    • same I have the sandisk 3.0 extreme but only 32GB … convincing myself 32 is not enough

    • I use these occasionally to maintain my NAS, boot Ubuntu, transfer large videos etc. Thinking of having dedicated Ubuntu drive.

    • +1

you could put files in it?

      • Of course. Lol…. However for longer term archiving I'd prefer BD.

Thanks. Probably didn't need one, but bought one anyway.

Not to be negative but there are seventeen 1 star reviews saying it breaks in less than a month. At least be careful with it when you get it!

Can you pick it up over there from a store at this price?
    I will be over there!

    • Don't think Amazon has a brick n mortar presence, they're online store only AFAIK.

    • Try Fry's. I've found them to be the best place to shop computer hardware while in the US

Same here, great price but don't need it so after cooling off a bit, I excercised some self-control and "saved it for later".

    • same here! gd price but i dont really need it….

in the world of usb flash drives 'Size Matters'.. you can never have enough space.. just ordered my 2nd one.

    • no idea why you got negged so I gave you a plus to even it out….

  • Does this have an LED to indicate data access?

    • +1

yes, with a red one in the middle

  • is this a good deal? reliable brand?

  • I ordered 128g from the last offer here on ozbargain which was close to 60$ however I never received the item it suppose to arrive 22/4
I contacted Amazon and they said item was lost its been showing custom clearance delayed on my account for the last 2 weeks
The offered resend or refund. I requested a refund and ordered this on :)
I hope this one will arrive

Forcf. Can you kindly provide your original order number?

I am in the EXACT same predicament. I ordered my item 11/04. Projected ETA 23/04 (Expedited Shipping!). Looking at the order status it is also showing 'Custom Clearance Delayed'.

Instead of being offered a refund or resend I'm being asked to wait till May 10 (!). They offered a refund of the shipping costs which I declined. I'd like to be offered the same options to resolution.

Few extra dollars for Corsair reliability…. couldn't bring myself to trust PNY… lol

    • Look at reviews it's write speed is below 30mb that's usb 2 speed. JUNK

  • Great price - haven't ordered from Amazon before, does Auspost handle delivery this side? Thanks.

    • +2

If you select cheaper delivery options it's normally AUSPOST at this end. More expensive shipping options use UPS etc.

      • cheers :)

  • Bit the bullet and bought 1 too… hopefully will be good to use in the car to listen to music

    • I doubt it'll be able to sustain the high temperatures in the car that it'll inevitably suffer (when left in the car) in this scenario.

  • +1

Darn it…caved and bought another one.

    Thanks OP.
