  I think in comparison to the Nexus 7 $149 deal at JB this has a better display with HDMI but no secondary camera and only dual core. It would be interesting to know if the build quality is better than the nexus and whether Amazon provide OS updates?

  Kindles have been officially shipping to Aus for months :)

  Still, not a bad price if you want to go straight to the source. Think they are about $88 here from most big retailers.
