I don't know why you would get this over a 16Gb Nexus 5 from the play store ($399+ $19 delivery)

      maybe preference?

This price is everywhere now, Telstra Target etc

The 5c is going to be the next Prepaid Telstra Phone 8gb as well

  • I don't think this is a clearance or a sale. It looks like this is Telstra's new price for the iPhone 4S on prepaid http://www.telstra.com.au/mobile-phones/prepaid-mobiles/mobi…

EDIT: the above poster beat me to it

  • anyone knows how long would it take until you can have it unlocked from Telstra and how much it would cost? cheers

    • No iPhone on ios 7 is lockef

      • but the one like this would be still in iOS6 when we open box?

    • anyway, phone comes as locked but can be unlocked with fee, $27.50 after 6 months activated the phone

4S now runs terribly slow with new iOS since updated around Christmas. Planned Obsolescence again I suppose.

    • +3

Mine's still running fine. I haven't noticed any significant slow-down. I did do a fresh install of the new update though..

7.1.1 is not bad, but my 5 is better :)

    • +1

Have you tried 7.1.1? Runs far smoother than after the iOS 7 update.

  • Is there much improvement over the iphone 4?

    • Siri
      Bluetick
and I believe a better camera
Also did the 4 suffer from Antennagate?

why not get a nexus or moto G with this price?

    • I got a note 2 for 345 from that UK Amazon deal. Best phone I've ever owned.

      • Lol now would be a good time to stop.

  • Jb's 64G iP5 for 6XX is definitely better.

    • You mean jb hifi ? Can you provide a link ?

    • I am not aware of any Jb deals currently, what is the deal 64gb out of curiosity?
I can only find a pink iphone 5c 16gb for $734 outright, which does not sound like a deal to me:
      http://www.jbhifi.com.au/phones/apple/iphone-5c-16gb-pink-sk…
so compared that with a $615 iphone5 32gb is where I am coming from; Not saying my offer is the cheapest but I believe it is a fair price?

Similarly, I forgot to vote for OP; as it is relevant for those who wanted to spend only $400 it may be a deal for them for what it is worth.

LOL…. I still kick myself today for missing out buying only two of the JB $100 gift card offer that comes with $30 egift card Bonus last year https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/127701.....that was the best deal ever from JB, I reckon but today it is hardly relevant to anyone buying gift cards today; otherwise anything less than a 30% discount would never be a deal then?
Or the $1 for the $40 rebel gift card from News Ltd, as that is going to be hard too.?
You sneeze you lose ….that's the Ozbargain spirit!
