It's + $39 with Express Priority, so it comes out at $164.

Even with insurance its an extra $2.50 and you only have to wait 1-2 extra days and you save $20 compared with priority.

EDIT: Just found E-Global code "EGLFRND5" that gives you $5 off. So total including priority shipping is AU$161.50, otherwise $139 including express

I would be careful buying anything from DWI - I have been stung a couple of times. Service is very poor.

  • What are people's experiences with websites like eGlobal or DWI? I see dalecjr recommends against them. I've been looking at getting a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50's or M50x's but didn't trust any of those slightly dodgy looking websites. Are they guaranteed to be genuine products? Are there any issues with local warranty if something breaks?

The best price I've found on the M50x is from rubbermonkey for $181.31 incl. standard postage.

Edit: The M50x's were available from eGlobal last time I checked, but they appear to be unavailable now?

I bought a set of A900x's from them (DWI) a few months ago, no complaints! Good price, fast shipping..

Not sure how good they are with warranties though (hopefully I wont have to find out!!!)

If you want M50, I'll probably get it from https://www.massdrop.com/buy/ath-m50 while it only has 5 days left.

      • Oh wow. That's a good price. Do you own either of the M50 or M50x? I'm tempted by the detachable cables on the M50x, but that's probably not enough to justify the price jump. Also, I was hoping to buy from a local retailer so as to not have warranty issues down the line - do you have any experience with this?

        • thanks i got a pair was looking on amazon and its about 20 bucks more

i bought few items from DWI before, including sony alpha camera, some lenses and headphones such Sen HD600/650 and HD800. All were delivered in less than 5 days, especially i got the HD800 in 2 days. All emails prior to the sale were answered, though the answers were not quite clear.
Anw, all items were genuie and still going strong up to now, cant commend on their warranty service since i have not had a chance.

p/s: there was a thread on whirlpool in which pointed out that eglobal and dwi are almost the same, except dwi has AUS customer service based

    • warranty is non-existent, customer service is just as bad. Tried to claim warranty on a galaxy note before, they shipped the phone back to hong kong then told me I needed to pay for repairs. They held the phone for about 5 weeks.

What sucks is that i bought over $3000 worth of camera gear from these guys.

Edit: nvm, I did not notice the 'x' first - can I revoke my neg rating somehow?
