Came apon this whilst buying a caveman iPad for the father in law, 5% price beat at ow should mean a new iPad for $349.60. . I think a refurb is about $320 at Apple.

Unfortunately my father in law couldn't wait to order from ow online and paid the bigw price. As such… I don't talk to him anymore… OBer 4eva!

  which means you will be able to purchase one for $349.60

  OR

  Spend a little bit more ($35 to be precise) and get a refurbished 4th generation iPad with Retina Display from the apple store [Apple] (http://store.apple.com/au/product/FD513X/A/refurbished-ipad-…)

    To make the iPad 4 seem like a bargain in comparison. Also so people can use docks and accessories using the old apple plugs.

  Goodguys went down to $399 for the iPad 4 with Retina lately. Wait for a similar deal.

    yeap, 399 for ipad 4, way better, ipad 2 is ditched and these should be the last batch.
    If it is with 3G, then it is a better deal.

  New upadted version of IOS does not support older version ipad. Many new apps require latest version IOS. Without new apps, an old ipad becomes useless. For the similiar amount of money, I will go for the newer version.

        It is running now…just thinking ahead. Happened on ipad1, itouch…Personally I would rather grab an iPad4 instead of an iPad2 for $50 more with longer mileage.

  I bought a second hand ipad 4 wifi 16gb for $350 a year ago on gumtree. if i were you guys, I'd keep looking
