0% Interest for 10 Months on Purchases for All New CBA Credit Cards (Annual Fee Starts from $24)

80

Useful for those who have a home loan or planning to make a large purchase. If you choose the Low Fee credit card, the annual fee is $24. If you have an eligible CBA product you can get the Low Fee and Low Fee Gold (travel insurance and purchase security insurance) for no annual fee. Students also pay no annual fee for the Low Fee Student if they have a CBA everyday account with student options.

Of course there are better credit cards out there but the deal in this one is the 0% interest for purchases for 10 months promotion. Just pay the debt at the end of the 10 months and cancel the card.

Edit: just confirmed with bank staff that you have to pay $25 per $1000 debt per month. So 2.5% principal repayment per month.

  • WARNING: If you pay things back to CBA too quick your likely to be rejected :(

But you apply before you pay

      • Huh?

CBA takes all repayments on previous products into account. I smash cash back into my overdraft so they don't like lending to me on a credit card.

  • So how does this work?? Do u apply for card and use that card to spend and its 0% interest for the first 10monnths?

    • I assume you dont pay anything for 10 mths

      • +3

i would assume you still pay minimum repayments which are 2.5% as per OP

    • Yes, but as powerhead said, you still need to make monthly repayments.

  • Minimum repayment is 2.5% of your amount owing. Its nothing. Im doing this
