1 Night Accommodation Inc. Breakfast for 2 - St Kilda (Victoria) - $99

70

Travelzoo have just released a $99 deal for an overnight stay at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in St Kilda, including breakfast for 2. The price usually ranges from $149 to $239 for the same inclusions, so you're looking at around 30% to 60% off depending on night of the week.

Reviews are mostly positive, whilst not being outstanding. But for $99 in a decent location in Melbourne, it's not bad at all, particularly with breakfast included.

You can also upgrade to a 'Studio' room for $10 more ($109).

Rooms have foxtel, complimentary wifi (take note 5 star hotels), air conditioning etc…

For those note from Melbourne, there are some really nice restaurants surrounding St Kilda. If you have expensive taste, Donovans is fantastic and located virtually on the beach. Stokehouse is great, but not sure what's happening with their renovation. For something a little cheaper, Rococoon Acland St or Fitzroy St (There are two) are very nice for tapas.

Including breakfast, from $149 depending on night of the week. Most I've seen is $239 on a weekend.

I've updated the deal with this too now :) Thanks.

A great mexican restaurant I went to on Saturday was Bluecorn on Barkly st if you're looking for dinner.

    • I went there many many many years ago, it was great then too…

Claypots is also worth a visit…

  • Me & Her stayed at this place a couple of years ago. Being country folks, the traffic had gotten the better of me so I pulled in at the first convenient place after missing the Novotel entrance.

Anyhoo, great stay. Comnfortable, clean and friendly. The decor was unusual, as I recall. Black and white and lots of mirrors.

Odd thing though, there was a lot of coming and going in the corridors in the wee hours. Maybe the girls of St Kilda were extra busy that night?

    :-D

    Cheers

Black and white and lots of mirrors.

The owners are kinky Collingwood supporters…

      • just add smoke and you have the collingwood executive as well

    • There sure were a lot "coming" and going.

  • THanks, OP. Just booked a Studio room for July using the voucher…

A bit misleading I think. I just booked the Studio room. Got charged extra $45 for the kids. Their website says the studio room has a queen bed and a single bed. The lady on the phone insisted that the studio room only had a queen bed and that the terms and conditions says that the rate is for 2 people only, extra people costs more. After I hung up, I had a look again. I can't see that anywhere, can you?

Not off to a good start, me thinks.

    • Seems a little strange. The picture of the studio on their website clearly shows a Queen bed and a Single bed in the same room. I understand the two people comment for the breakfast, but surely as the room has an extra bed, a child wouldn't make a difference to them…

"Rooms have foxtel" - I'm assuming this is the standard Foxtel package for hotels which includes 30 channels, including the Comedy, Action, and Romance movie channels, and History Channel? If not, then it's false advertising.

  • never use travelzoo before, so if i want to book for 2 nights i need to buy 2 vouchers? and no more to pay to hotel?

    cheers

    • +1

Yes that's correct. No more to pay at hotel :)

thanks!! bought this using the travelzoo app and got another $10 discount off - it becomes $89

  • That's awesome :) Nice work!
