Just got this email from Harris Scarfe, promo for everyone.

**This is really for you very keen oZBargainer's who want a free $25 voucher and don't mind signing up for a credit card. This looks like a credit card, and the forms ask for all your financial details, but I think it's only for Harris Scarfe store use only. Not too sure if it's worth the hassle… I reckon your details will be stored in the National credit database like any bank card.

Note the GOLD card is the upgrade to the regular card (extra benefits).

I guess you just gotta remember to cancel the membership in a year's time / don't sign up for direct debit to avoid a $60 charge in the future.

    Signature for CC applications is a legal requirement, hence the hard copy.

    Think the OP's comment about the $25 "voucher" is probably the standard welcome credit.

    HS bricks and mortar are not confined to SA as the OP seems to think.

    Presumably just mentioning the annual fee waiver will work because as someone has said there's no detail available?

    If its real it's a decent deal.

    They ask for quite in depth financial details on the application form. No deal.

  I got one. Set up is very quick (mine was 2hrs). I find the head office support team to be vastly better than other retailers. (lets face it retailing in Australia is not very enjoyable!)Deferred payment promotions are time to buy.

  Oh sorry guys, I didn't know HS existed outside of Sa, I have changed the Original post. You can go instore to the office / main desk and sign up instead of fax assuming you can get to a store. Cheers guys.
