    Not worth it IMO.

Bought a Kogan one. Did the job. Nothing a fan forced oven couldn't achieve…

    • The Kogan version also says it has a 2.2kg capacity. It also seems to have a mechanical timer instead of the digital one on the Philips. I'd definitely go for a mechanical timer rather than digital. Nearly every appliance I've had to repair or throw away over the years (ovens, coffee machines, microwave ovens, kettles etc), the broken part is almost invariably the digital part. A circuit board has fried, a controller chip dies, microscopic PCB buttons wear out or fall apart, LCD panels give up the ghost. With mechanical parts, usually a toothbrush to clear out dust and dirt, and a bit of grease does the trick.

Seems to be on special at the moment:

I bought one of these for $69 and it's just as good as my friend's Philips airfryer, all mechanical too. But can't find them for that price anymore:

I actually really like mine and use it everyday. I do lamb chops, chicken wings, chicken breast not to mention frozen fish etc For a single member it's so easy, set and forget and pretty simple to clean. Looking forward to a larger captivity model but for a family, still too small IMO.

  • Don't forget $50 Amex statement credit (brings it down to $249):

  • Id rather my Tefal Actifry over that

  • what is the point of having this offer when Brisbane TGG hasn't got stock?
