  • awesome!!!
wonder what time the sale will start…in Western Standard Time???

    • Usually its all over the place. Just keep an eye on their website.

      • +1

after the most painful phone call to their call centre, and the guy totally not understanding what i was after, he eventually saw the sale i was talking about and said it starts at midnight EST, so that'll be 10pm tonight for us western australians.

        • Thanks for going through that agony and letting us know :)

        • No luck finding the cheap seats yet! Are you sure it's 10pm WST tonight?

          • @liparj: me neither :(
that's what the guy at the call centre said. if anyone else calls to ask when it starts, pls let us know!!

            • @BelLikesABarg: It ended up coming in at midnight. If you hunt around you can get $99 there, $34 back.

              • @[Deactivated]: just booked them this morning, seems plenty available. cost $310 all up for 2 ppl with seats picked and upsized luggage included. I'm happy!!

  • Damn, I can already get $335 return for the days I'm considering travel, and the sale hasn't even kicked in yet…

  • Virgin Blue are offering $129 one way and $84 on the return if you are interested in flying Pacific Blue instead of AirAsia

AirAsia's A320's are just as better though.

  • Great find! Much better than Virgin who seem to have cheap seats only midweek.

  • All the very cheap seats gone on Virgin. Air Asia is much cheaper (mid week.)

    I can't believe they have cheaper than the $65 I paid :P

It's a shame these prices are not going to be around a few years later :(

    • yes they will. Airasia's once/twice a year "Taxes only" sale will give you a even cheaper result.

  • I booked a 4 night holiday around next year's Labour Day for $135 return including luggage allowance.

    Crazy.
