      • Seems to be a scam. No reply to emails and xda forum mention this site as a scam. Reported to paypal, but dought they will refund my money

        • Hi , wondering to ask that did manage to refund or you've got a code ? I paid them as well but no respond yet . I wana go for refund but don't know where to start.

Did you pay by PayPal? If so, Open a new dispute under the dispute resolution centre and follow the prompts.

If you paid directly by credit card, you need to contact your bank and ask them to initiate a 'chargeback'.

You need to hurry as the longer you wait, the less likely you are to be able to recover your cash.

PayPal are pretty good at refunding when there is a scam involved.

I think you can rest easy. Your money is safe :)

No Refund yet. I have escalated to a paypal claim for fraud and waiting for a response. After i raised the claim he contacted me and wanted to withdraw my claim before he process my request. I am going to wait for paypal action.

paypal claims for non physical iteams are hard. :( any way hopefully i will get a refund.

        • I suggest you to raise a paypal claim too. and mark it as fraud. He is crook. First he didn't reply to my emails , but once i raised the claim he is in contact.

          1st email :
He wants to withdraw the claim since his system is linked to paypal and it is very dangerous to raise a claim since it can block my IMEI permanently from unblocking.

          2nd email:
He can't now login to the system and he can't feed his family.

          3rd email:
He is still waiting for the system to give the code but in the mean time withdraw the claim.

I have told him to refund my money and we can move on and yet to get a reply.

        • Thanks for replying . Yes I paid by paypal and opened a new dispute as you said.

        • Finally I received this respond
          close Paypal claim now.

Your order is processing on carrier server now. Our PayPal account

connected with carrier server account. It`s very dangerous to

cancel this process by opening claim because your phone will be

permanently locked and no one other unlocking procedure will not unlock it.

We reccomend you to close the PayPal claim now

        • that doesn't even make sense, don't close the paypal claim

        • +2

WOW…there is no limit to how low this guy will go!

DO NOT CLOSE PAYPAL CLAIM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

If you do, you will NEVER see your money again!

        • I manged to get a paypal refund after i disputed it. So do not close the claim. He told me the same.

    • Hey mate , did you get the result yet? Thanks

  • I also received confirmation from this guy's that they're able to provide an unlock code. But haven't try them yet.

Unfortunately, the unlock code for IMEI: XXXXXXXXXXXX, is NOT Available or NOT FOUND.
We will pay the money back to within 24h.

        Will try someone else

Has ANYONE been able to find a way to unlock this phone without going through Vodafone?

    • Same here, desperately digging the net to find way unlock this :(
Since few weeks had gone by, it looks that the only option is to go through Voda itself.

      • Well on the positive side, it's free after 6 months - right? ;)

        • It's $25 after 6 months.

        • Interesting…… I got a Vodafone locked G526 that was unlocked for free via their website, so I just assumed that was their policy.

  • Just got a code from htcunlockingservice.com but it didn't work. Please let me know if anyone find one.

    Finally unlocked it.

Cost: About 34 dollars. (If you wait 6 months can get it unlock through Vodafone for 25.)

    Site: http://www.gsmliberty.net/shop/htc-imei-unlock-codes-p-1546.…

you will have to place the order here and initially have to pay 14.62 AUD. After about one day you will get an email stating code is not found whether you want to upgrade to the next level of search for another 9.90 AUD. Upgrade this. And you will get another email stating that code is not found and whether you want to upgrade again to search there next server (Cost 9.90 AUD). This is the highest level they can search so max it will cost you is 34 dollars. I manged to get the code this morning and managed to unlock it. Whole process will take about 5 days. They do have customer server line and also online chat. If in case they can't find the code they will refund the whole amount.

      sounds very scammish!

you have to pay even if they don't unlock it?

      • Read what i wrote :)

    • Based on the above this deal simply does not stack up and I have revoked my vote.

It's better going for the Huawei Ascend G526 or Sony Xperia M in this deal.

Also, it appears that this is now the normal price for this phone at DSE. You can get it at the Kmart sale for $74.50

      Bottom line: no deal! :)

  • If anyone is still looking to unlock this phone, I have this figured out with my unlock code wholesaler.
Its expensive at $22 but guaranteed to work.
