Stopped by EB Games Brisbane CBD on my way to lunch. Saw this on the wall and thought I should post it.

Best deals I've seen so far are:

Pre-owned consoles come with '3 month' warranty but I suspect, due to my watching of "The Checkout" recently that Oz consumer protection laws can be leveraged if it taps out early.

Apologies I didn't have a chance to ask if there was any stock on hand. Was rushing out to get back and the person behind the counter was dealing with a customer.

May try and grab one after work.

    If you are lucky you might find them cheaper in some Good Guys stores as they are clearing gaming stock

    Basic Console w/ Skylanders has been seen for $200
    Wii U Premium with Nintendo Land for $300

    This is a poor deal in my opinion. Wii U's are often seen cheaper than this.

    Its a good deal for pre-EOFYS, however its not too long until EB starts their half-yearly sale and might knock that down a bit further.

      Also wanted to add that the premium console is really only good for the black colour (if you want it) because you'll need add-on storage the moment you buy Mario Kart 8 (physical or digital) with the free game and the premium promotion prevents collecting points after 31 December.

        Exactly - I've got a blacky that filled up with a few e-shop games -wish I got the basic as I prefer the white (they'll be rare in the end too :-)

    Just a heads up, I'm in QLD and couldn't find stock of the skylanders bundle anywhere.

    I managed to get the good guys to price match (it would seem they're trying to clear out all the gaming stock).
    Secondly as I'm a tier 2 member at EBgames I traded in the skylander starter pack minus the colour shift wash buckler for $40 and then sold the left over skylander for $30.

    So essentially I got the system for $198.
