Brand new only cost $1396 and if pay cash could reduce down to $1200.

I wouldn't buy a factory 2nd TV unless its half the retail price and with 5 years warranty.

    • This is NOT a Factory 2nd TV.

Still just $100 or so less than retail price for a carton damaged product. You guys should see how much retails discount for such products. You guys pick it up from wholesalers like Graysonline in Bulk and make huge margins.

I got in once from a wholesaler for like 30~35% lesser than best retail price.

        • You might want to do a little bit more research on this - we certainly don't buy anything from Grays. Have a look at these TVs in one of our stores, the damage on the boxes is minimal - the product itself is brand new.

All electrical retails are making heaps of money on TVs and laptops. They markup prices up to 150%.

        • I'm not sure what you base this on but I would be very surprised if you find anyone making this sort of margin on TVs/PCs…

Like PW said above, JB have it slightly more, but guaranteed to go to JB or even better the Good Guys and can get this TV for $1200 cash no probs. So $1199 (with damaged carton (no matter how minor the damage)) from a 2nds store is Not a Bargain at all!

Have purchased 3 large screen TVs from 2ndsworld before and don't have issues with them, even in regards to warranties. As for this particular TV, the price seems to be the lowest i can find considering it still have the 3 years warranty. You can't really say you "could" reduce it down to $1200 at JB unless it's confirmed with a receipt. So as it's stand, not a big bargain but it's the lowest without having to go to a store, negotiate and pay cash.

  • In my experience with such a large TV you need to make sure your lounge sits far enough back from the TV or else you get a headache watching it.

I do not think gotta be an issue, at least not to me. I got 70" and at most 3 meters in font of it, even feel it is not big enough especially when watching 3d's. Lol. But may be prob for someone, who knows.

        • Thank you very much - Just bought the 60" one from Sharp for $1139.66! (with free delivery)

  • Do these TVs still have yellow pixels endorsed by Mr. Sulu?

lol, there goes the bargain ..
ozbargain community cannot be tricked. period.

  • Where is the store rep :)

  • A thing to note about this TV, these are Edge Lit LED and the colours are just messed up, the reds are not exactly RED, they're more of a dark dull red. Anyway, if you chose to buy this TV, its your choice.
