Recently just completed a pacifist, foxiest of the hounds and legend playthrough on the hardest difficulty. Top notch game.
The original game and the sequel Invisible War as also $1.74 each, the lowest all-time prices (though they have been that low before).
Got a boxed copy of HR I've never even opened; sigh, might as well get the Director's Cut.

Thought it was a great game though haven't played Directors Cut version. Highly recommend at this price.
Thanks - I am getting back into PC gaming for first time since 2009 with my new laptop so this looks like a good choice, they fixed all the bugs and for $5 it is great value.
Actually there are more bugs in the Director's Cut version, mostly attributed to performance. The performance is worse on Nvidia than it is on a Radeon GPU.
Ohhhh well. Already bought it. Luckily my new 860m is strong enough to handle AAA 2014 titles, I think it can cope with the performance hit, as long as there are no game ending bugs.
From what I read (briefly), this DC fixed a lot of issues with boss matches, which were originally outsourced to a third party developer who stuffed it up.

just the intro movie/experience is worth $5 imo..
fyi.. just finished watching Almost Human season 1, if you are into Deus Ex, can't recommend this enough.
Agreed on both points. It's a shame Almost Human isn't getting a second season.
100X this, it is both a thought-provoking sci-fi and an excellent cop drama with perfect chemistry between the main pair.
Deus Ex:HR is an awesome game with an awesome setting.
