UPDATE: Some people are reporting that their receipt shows "WU SKY/SF CONS" and others have been able to take the Skylanders Bundle console home early. (Benefits of the Skylanders Bundle are Nintendo Land being included as well as the Gold Exclusive Wash Buckler figure. YMMV but it can't hurt asking for the bundle/taking it home early).

    Hey guys,
    Just go back from EB games with this bundle. The manager didn't even realise they had these bundles in the store room. He was saying that he sold one a couple of days ago that didn't have nintendoland included. This is the limited edition skylanders wii u bundle that sells for $348

    Took home console and pick up mario kart on saturday.

          Guess it goes to show not everyone working in a games store know everything about their stocked products.

          My guess is that stores everywhere will be using the bundles to fulfill orders until they run out; only then will they use separate console + SL packs.

      Same thing happened with me. I actually showed them a pic of the Green Skylanders Wii U Box on my phone and then they were like "oh we have those!".

      There is another deal on for those who have already paid off their EB Skylanders MK8 Bundle which is $10 cheaper than this one and definitely comes with Nintendo Land. For people like myself who are already using the console you can try use this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/146282 to knock it down another $10 when you pick up MK8.
      If you haven't decided yet then the Target deal is the go if stock is available.

    Picked mine up today from EB and managed to score the version that comes with Nintendoland as well. BUT waited about 2 hours for the system update to get to 95% only to then discover there was a server error! Thought oh well I'll just play some Mario Kart…nope have to update before playing. Pretty frustrating.

    Walked into EB games Albert street (Brisbane City) and picked up the bundle. They asked if i wanted to trade-in skylanders for $25 which i thought was alright so only ended up costing $254. Nintendoland was included in the box too.

    Can't wait till i can play mario kart now :)

      You can only claim one free game per Club Nintendo account. If you wanted to claim all those codes, each game would have be attached to 1 acc. each so if you wanted to play 'x' game linked to 'x' acc. you would have to constantly switch between them…

          An update on my order from online:

          The delivery estimate changed to "Not available at this time. Please contact EB". So I called them up and the guy said that it had been delayed for some unknown reason. He tried getting in contact with the team but couldn't. He said there was also plenty of stock. He's gonna call back later.

          Just a heads up for anyone considering ordering online.

          Did you choose standard or express shipping?

          edit: NVM, I chose express instead of standard just incase they drag the order out causing me to miss out on them shipping the bundle ver. Seem more feasible. Only $3.50 extra.

          So all up $16 more than the target deal, but still worth it.
          eBay the SL for $60 = $225 for Wii-U Basic+Nintendoland+MK8+'free game'.

          It was shipped inside a very thin outer box with the normal bundle box inside, with the Mario Kart game forced into the outer box.

          Obviously this means not much protection and one corner of the bundle box is a little bit crushed… but no big deal..

    Ringwood Eastland has the skylander&Nintendo land&MK8 green box bundle in stock, just bought one, don't know how many but a few. Forest hill does not have any Nintendo land ones in stock.
    Also for the target deal, Ringwood and Forrest Hill have no stock.

    Awesome you guys are getting the Bundle with Nintendo Land!

    I spoke to EB staff and basically they don't list the "Free download game" on the basic bundle due to the console may not have enough free space to store it. As pointed out above, all Mario Kart 8 games come with the free downloadable game.
    Also the Skylanders bundle with Nintendo Land isn't listed due to the fact that not all stores have these left and online orders won't guarantee you one once they run out, so obviously better to say you get less than promise Nintendo Land and not being able to fulfil it.

    If your local store doesn't have the bundle with Nintendo Land try online as I was told they still have "plenty of stock" with the bundle but wouldn't say for certain you will get Nintendo Land (to cover their arse).

    You can always try your luck in-store matching Targets price for $269, they were happy enough for me to price match even when Target didn't have any stock left. I didn't go telling them the stock levels though ;)

    Stupid question: The pack comes with one of these fancy controllers with screen … wouldn't you need a second one to be able to play with friends (I already imagine big fights for the cool controller).

      At this stage games only support the use of 1 Gamepad (The large one with the screen) and other players can depending in the game, use Wii Motes, Pro Controller etc.
      Multi Gamepad support is coming and EB have them as pre-order with an est price of $199 (which is pretty crazy, may as well buy 2 of these bundles)

      You can use other controllers, such as an old wiimote from a Wii, or a Wii U Pro controller which is about $50.

        Thanks a lot. Thought about buying a second bundle just for the Gamepad … but looks like this is not necessary at the moment. As I don't own a old Wii I might pick up two old wiimote + sensor bar or the new Pro Controller then.

        There might be also one or two old Wii games which I like … (always wanted a Wii but never bought one … so the WiiU is now perfect for this.)

          EB have them for $57 in both colours and Target have white for $49. Can also pick them up pretty cheap s/h. Seen em at cashies for around $25.

    Don't forget the FREE download …

    I just realised that you can download the "Wii Sports Club" for free in the eShop on the WiiU … It's pretty much the original Wii Sports Game in HD (here we go … Tennis, Bowling, Boxing, Golf & Baseball … Another free game (and thats a classic must have in my opinion … ).

    Just search for "Sports Club" in the eShop.

      Wii Sports Club is just an 'app' and the sports themselves must be purchased separately. Only 3 sports are available at $13 each, the remaining two sports are coming as well a a retail version that will have all

    Alright let me clear something up RE the nintendo land. If you buy this from EB Games it comes WITH nintendo land. It is boxed this way. Bix box which has Wii U on it, inside is the Skylanders pack with the portal, game and 3 figures. This comes in a plastic backing WITH NINTENDO LAND!. Then the Wii U console is in a separate box in the big box. They then just chuck you mario Kart which you can download the game with. so to clear up, yes this does come with nintendo land so you are buying A wii U console with 3 physical games and 1 downloadable

      Not much to clear up, isn't advertised with Nintendo Land because you aren't guaranteed to get it. A lot of people got Nintendo Land bundled in and some didn't. It is now removed off the website but still available in store. Depending what stock is left, you may get the Nintendo Land bundle but don't expect it,
