UPDATE: Some people are reporting that their receipt shows "WU SKY/SF CONS" and others have been able to take the Skylanders Bundle console home early. (Benefits of the Skylanders Bundle are Nintendo Land being included as well as the Gold Exclusive Wash Buckler figure. YMMV but it can't hurt asking for the bundle/taking it home early).

Damn this deal is really good. Also, Premium pack does NOT contain nintendo land, unless the store explicitly bundles it.

EDIT, shit I just saw the side of that picture, it does explicitly say that, damn good deal then.

      Agreed, it's a good platformer that can be reasonably hard at times and has skill trees for the characters. Only because it is targeted at children because of the collectibles doesn't mean it is a kids game.

  When in store I asked about the Premium bundle and I was told it was the NSMB/Luigi U bundle with Nintendo Land & Mario Kart thrown in separately.
  They were unsure if the Skylanders Game was the actual "Bundle" or just the Starter Pack thrown in. If by some chance it is the bundle then that is even better. But as they couldn't confirm I didn't include that in the deal.
  Hopefully these show up online soon.

    In the Basic Bundle you don't get Nintendo Land. The proper Skylanders Bundle you do (as well as the gold colour shift Washbuckler).
    
    I tried to get it today but was told I could only pre-order and pick up on the 31st. I do hope it is the Skylanders proper bundle as you do get Nintendo Land with that but won't know for sure until the release date or if EB updates their website.

    The only thing not ready for pickup is Mario Kart 8. I'm glad there are staff reasonable and flexible enough to let people have the console first. Just mark it off properly on the receipt.

Just so you know, if you download mario kart original from e-shop for $10.80 you get $10.80 credit. I am also considering downloading mario kart 8 as I know it will get thrashed and don't want to risk damage to the disc reader etc, also it may avoid any potential loading time issues. I know it will be cheaper to get at Big W for what I remember $68. There is also going to be another update soon making loading times 20 seconds faster for the Wii U.
Probably will hardly ever play original mario kart but it ends up being free in a way.

TL/DR get mario kart original from e-shop for $10.80 get $10.80 credit. Use this to get mario kart 8 and avoid disc scratches/potential loading issues.

There is a lot of misinformation going on in this post, so I will try to clarify the two deals to the best of my knowledge.

Basic Bundle: Basic 8GB console, Skylanders Swapforce game, Mario Kart 8 and one of the 10 digital games listed in the main post.
Note - The digital download game is not listed on our display box because it requires an external HDD to be attached to the Wii U (sold separately).

Premium Bundle: Premium 32GB console with Mario Kart 8 packed in, Nintendo Land, New Super Mario Bros U.
Note - New Super Mario Bros U is the free digital game that comes with Mario Kart 8. It is interchangeable with any of the other 9 games listed in the original post.
Double note - This bundle does NOT comes with New Super Luigi U.

I'll clarify these details tomorrow morning when I'm in at work, but I thought I'd get in quickly before some of you make choices that aren't correct.

Also, if you're going to get Mario Kart 8 and/or Smash Bros, the Wii U Pro Controllers are $57 at the moment. I'd highly recommend using them over the Wii Remote + Nunchuck combo.

Why not simply have the same 1 of 10 digital games explanation as per the Basic combo? Makes it intentionally seem like you're getting an extra New Super Mario Bros U game when you upgrade to the Premium combo.
