Hulu Plus Free Month. for Existing Users Only

I subscribe to hulu plus but decided to cancel.

On trying to cancel through my account a popup said that i was a valued customer and to have a free month if i stayed.

I clicked this or course as its a freebee.

I am not sure what is the trigger for this as i have had hulu plus for over a year

Thanks OP, You saved me USD $7.99 …. Hulu offered me a free month when I tried to cancel. I joined last December.
