  • This is helpful to me cniminc, I kiss you for your post!

  • Thanks. If I can combine this with some kind of $10 off $100 voucher (or even $5), I'd be set.

    • Yeah, thats what i'm trying to find as well…

  • Not sure if it helps, but yesterday i spent $70 in Vic and got a receipt stub for 50% all vodafone products.

      Can you share?

      • Its probably on the rewards card, it wasn't a code. Sorry.

How's Vodafone in Sydney these days?

I'm with Telstra and they're great but $180 for 12gb is steep compared to $125 for 15gb.

    • Still dodgy. You get what you pay for. My phone occasionally fails to make a call. But I don't get upset about it, I just hit redial until it connects.

      • I have the same issue with Telstra, so it's not a specific problem with Vodafone.

  • Anyone use a Vodafone MBB sim with their mobile phone? I have a dual sim phone and wanting to get some cheap data. The $29 MBB sim + $125(-15%off) 365days recharge seems to be the best option for me. I've asked a Vodafone sales rep and she told me that I can use it in my phone but they don't recommend people to do this.

    • Yeah you can use the MBB sim in any smartphone.

As long as you've got the right APN set to your mobile (either sim card 1 or 2 setting wherever which sim card slot you use for mbb on a dual sim phone) then you'll be able to surf the web and tether if you want.

Definitely a cheap way if you are data hungry.

Voda reps don't recommend it because you could easily forget that the mbb sim is not for calls and normal sim card recharges aren't compatible. It just becomes a mess afterwards but if you remember then it's fine.

  • Anyone know how long these recharge vouchers remain valid? I did my yearly top-up recently but had to pay full price, I'd prefer to have a discounted recharge waiting for me when the time comes.

    • Unused recharge vouchers nowadays last up to six months when you've purchased them.

The older recharge vouchers from years ago (like prior to 2013) were able to last up to two years.

      Rules change for those vouchers.
