I enjoy the occasional jerky & this is a good deal and all but does anyone else feel that $75/kg for what is essentially dried meat too steep?
I prefer their Biltong, and I do agree that $75/kg is a bit steep, but Jim's is one of the better Jerky/Biltong suppliers that I have chanced across. Have a look at Biltong Man (based in Mascot NSW - closer to home for me) they have cheaper pricing.

I suggest you do some homework regarding jerky pricing out there.
This is cheap in comparison.
Yes yes, its just dried meat (actually theres more to it than that but anyway) that you can buy cheaper and do it yourself.
But even that meat you are buying is expensive, so by that thinking you should grow a cow and chop it up, and that'll be cheaper again. It's just beef right?
The more someone else processes something, the more you pay.
Go buy your own lean beef, a drier, some herbs, and a crapload of time, and sure…. it'll be cheaper.
But if you want someone else to lean cut little bits of meat, spice them up, and cure them just right- you'll have to pay for it because its very labour intensive.
This is a good deal, LESS than $75kg (because youre getting freebies) and its DELIVERED is about as cheap as you'll ever find it.

Assuming they still sell it, Costco jerky is much cheaper. It does mean you need to either have the membership or know someone who has it and can take you.. but it is much cheaper. Pretty good too!
I thoroughly recommend Jim's Jerky quality. I frequently buy 1kg of the BBQ flavour and lasts just over 2-3 weeks, it's that tasty!
