Price error? Anyway, I am so ozbargained that I will put the order.

    • -8

Iam going to be so annoyed if I dont receive the product Iam entitled to. If I put an order in for 8 $3000 overpriced tv's I wouldnt be able to cancel.. When things like this happen, no wonder you have people like Elliot Rodger

  • Probably won't honor it and will take ages to refund the money..

    • $5!?

  • Shipping $9.95

    • And stacks. $9.95 per ereader.

    • Store pick up?

      • +3

i chose pick up from local store see what happens, ordered 2 of them.

  • ordered it and got confirmation too from JBHIFI, lets see what happens next, costed $5 , picking it up though

  • Guessing pricing error but ordered one anyway.

  • And if you want a chance at all of getting one, don't order more than one…

    • I ordered two, am I screwed?

  • Order Status: IN PROGRESS

    Let's wait and see.

BTW- need a price and business name in title

  • Price in title please

  • Ordered one for pick up. Let's see if I'm gonna get confirmation email

  • Nice, thanks OP. Here's hoping it's honoured.

    • Why all the down votes?!? I have friends in the office…

      • -2

        "Colleagues" not "friends"

      • they downvoted you because you obviously should have bought more

        • ofcourse

  • Ordered one. just have to wait n see

Ordered for wife and I. If goes through, fantastic. If not, no worries. Worth a go.

Anyone ordering for their wife should get it honored.

  • I could never justify a Kindle, but at this price, why not. Although it does look like a price error…

  • ordered one for pickup… fingers crossed

  • ordered one for delivery. just for the lols

  • Pick up order, worth a crack.

If it is a pricing error will they just refund our money? Is there a chance they could honor it?

    • they wont charge your card till they ship it.

    • +1

They messed up a while ago with Sony powerpacks. They honoured that one at 1 each for people that ordered.

  • Thanks, ordered a couple.

  • Sounds too good to be true but I ordered 2 for pickup. Fingers crossed!

  • Ordered 2, for Wifey and kid. Thanks OP!

  • Order one! Not much hope but well… :D. Thanks OP

  • I actually have high hopes for this being honoured. surely the pick up emails get sent to the store and it depends who's picking the orders that day. Staff at jb don't generally seem like the type of people that will care if it's a pricing error.

  • Ordered a couple and opted for delivery. Maybe they'll honour it because of the $20 postage. LULZ.

I just checked the synopsis of "The boy that lived" on the ereader image.

    This is what I found…

•The book begins by introducing Scotty, and his website Ozbargain. They live on Privet Drive and try to act as normal as possible. However, we soon learn that Scotty is hiding something.
    •What he’s hiding is bargains galore;
•The narrator says that he doesn't realize how unusual this particular day is going to be – he doesn't see the voucher code fly past the window. But as Scotty leaves for work, he thinks he spots a bargain, just for a second.
•Scotty tries to forget about it, but then notices that there are people all around looking for bargains. He thinks it's weird, and puts his mind towards work. At work that day, he doesn't look out the window, so he doesn't see the massive groups of bargain hunters flying about, which would strike anyone else as unusual.
•During his lunch break, he ventures outside and sees a bunch of people searching for bargains. He overhears them talking about the 12% of at Dick Smith and eneloop batteries and gets really freaked out.
•He almost calls his wife to talk about it, but then tries to convince himself that the bargain hunting people probably weren't talking about cheap SSD’s on amazon.com

    And on it continues….

Sounds interesting. I hope it comes preloaded.

    • That was amazingly written, I have a feeling this read will be the highlight of my day :D

    • Respect!

  • almost certainly a pricing error, but I ordered a couple just to 'roll the dice'.
Sucks that they charge 2x shipping, but at $5 I guess I can't complain.

  • Thanks OP grabbed 2!

The tag and the look of the buttons make it a PRS-T2.

Grabbed one too for store pickup. Even though the wife already has a Kindle paperwhite, for $5, why not?

  • Ordered one for pick-up. It says 2-5 days. I didnt want to get from those which say same day pick-up because theyre a bit far from where I live.

Whats with JB Hifi and Sony and price errors !

Anyone remember the SONY Powerbank fiasco (for JB anyway). I got one then !

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/118375

    • +2

Why was that a fiasco? They were willing to honour the price and although I gor it months later I couldnt be happier. Im sure others were the same.

    • I ended up getting one as well.
Still sitting here packed as I did get one from Amazon in the meantime as it took ages for the one from JB to arrive- If I remember correct they also "offered" to refund the money in an email informing me about the shipping delays ;-)

  • Ordered one. Thanks OP. Will make good paperweight.

  • Order one for delivery for the lols, Fingers Crossed =)
